MakeSense is a global community that connects engaged citizens, entrepreneurs and organisations to build an inclusive and sustainable society together. The community has collectively designed a program called ReAction for Education which aims to support the education system during these unprecedented times. As a part of the community, I started inquiring about various problems that state schools in Maharashtra were facing and the biggest one was unavailability of textbooks. Students in state schools are provided with textbooks in schools however, to claim ownership, they need to buy them at a subsidised rate. For many of them, even the subsidised rates are fairly high and so in the given times they're making do without any textbooks. It is in accordance to this that I've attempted to make a website which provides some free resources compiled together. As of now, it only includes IIT preparation material, IIT foundation books for Class 10 and State board textbooks in English, Marathi and Hindi. The penultimate section deals with doubts, wherein a few IITians are willing to help solve difficult questions and conceptual problems. Needless to say, these resources are not exhaustive which is why the last page is a request page wherein you can request for books, be it for academic or leisure reading.
